Why did you choose Brunner?

I chose Brunner because of the people. Everyone I spoke to was so nice and down-to-earth. I was searching for a total change of pace from my previous job and everything from the work to the clients to the people matched what I was looking for.

Where were you born?

Atlanta, Georgia – two miles away from Brunner Atlanta at Piedmont Hospital!

Have you lived anywhere other than Atlanta?

I spent a few summers working and living outside Asheville, North Carolina. I lived in Columbia, South Carolina in college and spent five years in New York City.

Do you have any siblings?

I have 3 brothers, one older and two younger.

How do you like your coffee?

I’m on a big oat milk latte kick these days. But if I’m getting coffee, I’ll add two Splendas and a tiny little splash of half and half.

What is your favorite book?

A Tree Grows In Brooklyn.

Where did you go to college?

The University of South Carolina– Go Cocks!

What hobbies did you have in college?

I was very involved in Relay for Life and Omega Phi Alpha Service sorority.

Tell us a fun fact from college.

I completed 1000 hours of community service in my 4 years at USC, graduated with distinction in community service, and received the National Presidential Service Award.

Do you have an unpopular opinion?

I think chewing gum is so, so, so, so gross. Also, Newsies is the best movie in Disney’s entire catalog and arguably the best performance Christian Bale has ever given in his entire cinematic career.

Do you have any pets?

I have three pugs – Stanley, Karl, and Nora.

What do you do on the weekends?

I love going to the coffee shop with my dog Nora and riding my bike on the Silver Comet Trail. I’m teaching myself how to make my own clothes (turns out there’s way more math involved than I anticipated). I also really enjoy embroidery and love to make pieces for my friends and family (and sell the rest on my Etsy shop).

If you could eat without getting full, what would your ultimate buffet be?

Macaroni and cheese! This buffet would have everything from gourmet to homemade. Give me creamy, give me baked, give me Kraft, give me shells. I could be open to a cacio pepe situation. A few years ago for my birthday, I had macaroni and cheese served in martini glasses (to make it fancy) with toppings like Flaming Hot Cheetos, bacon bits, parmesan cheese, and chives and no birthday will ever compare to that.

Have you ever had a “run-in” with a celebrity?

I met a lot of celebrities, from Justin Trudeau to the Jonas Brothers, in my previous job as a publicist for Broadway shows, some photos are attached. But some “in the wild” run-ins include seeing Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick walking out of a Whole Foods on the Upper West Side, sitting across from Lady Gaga on the downtown C train at 8am on a random Tuesday morning, and running into John Mayer at the Apple Store in Lenox Mall when I was in high school. (I promise I’m not as insufferable as this answer makes me sound.)

Any other fun facts about you?

My mom’s entire family is from the Pittsburgh area – we’re talking grandparents, great grandparents, great great grandparents, cousins, uncles, etc., etc. Despite this, I’ve never been to Pittsburgh. But statistically speaking, someone in this company could be my long-lost relative (calling all Swartzs, McConnells, and Peacocks!)
