Meet Matt Penoyar—Sports fan and family man. He’s joined our Digital Design Experience Team as a UX Specialist, where he puts his research and design skills to good use. Get to know Matt below!
Q: Why did you choose Brunner?
A: I really liked everyone that I met throughout the interview process. I was excited to be able to do research and design in an agency setting.
Q: Where were you born?
A: Michigan.
Q: Do you have any siblings?
A: 3 brothers.
Q: What hobbies did you have in high school?
A: Baseball, Art, Gardening.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: Kennesaw State University.
Q: Tell us about your home life.
A: I am married to my amazing wife, Michelle. We have one dog who is 10 years old.
Q: Any fun projects happening at home?
A: There are a lot of projects going on right now! We moved to a new house in September of 2020. We recently removed 14 trees from our backyard (there are still 36 large trees) and added a lawn, vegetable garden, and lots of fun plants.
Q: What do you do on the weekends?
A: Usually, family time and working on projects. There is also a good bit of football and sports being watched.
Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?
A: Hike the Appalachian Trail.
Q: What is one thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list?
A: Run a full marathon.
Q: How do you like your coffee?
A: Pretty much any way. It’s just fuel.
Q: What would you do with a million dollars?
A: Pay off mortgage and save the rest.
Q: If you could eat without getting full, what would your ultimate buffet be?
A: Definitely a Chinese buffet.
