Meet Luca Pugliano—resident nutrition and running enthusiast. When he’s not on the clock as Brunner’s new Display/Social Specialist, you’ll catch him outside golfing, kayaking, or hiking.
Q: Why did you choose Brunner?
A: Brunner is a great place for me to learn and grow from knowledgeable people who will help me grow in my career. I am very excited to be a part of such a fast growing team.
Q: Where were you born?
A: Right here in Pittsburgh.
Q: What hobbies did you have in high school?
A: I ran Cross Country and Track.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: I went to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where I studied Marketing. Hail 2 Pitt!!
Q: What hobbies did you have in college?
A: I had a scholarship to run Cross Country and Track. Through my running connections, I was able to intern with the Pittsburgh Marathon and work most of the major running events in Pittsburgh.
Q: Tell us a fun fact from college.
A: I currently hold 3 track & field school records in the 800m, 4x800m and 4x400m.
Q: How have you been quarantining?
A: My quarantine purchase was my golden retriever mix breed Stella. She’s 7 months now and full of energy.
Q: What do you do on weekends?
A: Golfing, Kayaking, Hiking w/ Pup
Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?
A: I would love to go and visit Italy to see where my grandparents grew up.
Q: What would you do with a million dollars?
A: I would buy waterfront property somewhere on a lake with a lot of land.
Q: What is your favorite place in the world?
A; A summer day out on a golf course with friends.
Q: If you could have a shopping spree at any store, which would you choose?
A: Dick’s Sporting Goods, I have an addiction to buying gimmicky golf purchases that are supposed to help your game. They never do.
Q: What is one thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list?
A: I learned how to wake surf last summer, it’s a blast.
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: Nutrition, I love learning about eating right and sharing what I know to help others.
