Meet Lindsay Motta—resident amateur chef, spinning enthusiast, and plant mom. While she’s not on the clock as Brunner’s Brand Engagement Strategist, you’ll catch her outside exploring with her dog, Nessa.

Q: Describe yourself in 3 words.

A: Loud. Resilient. Softhearted.

Q: What were some of your high school hobbies? 

A: I was in the orchestra where I played violin, was part of our high school’s community club where I spent a lot of time organizing philanthropy events. I also attempted running track.

Q: What were some of your college hobbies?

A:  In undergrad at Duquesne University, I was in a sorority (Sigma Kappa). I also had several internships including PNC, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Heinz History Center which kept me busy with events.

Q: Tell us some college fun facts.

A:  When interning with the Steelers, I had the opportunity to have meals during home games with Mr. Rooney (Dan Rooney). I even went to their home for brunch once. Looking back, those conversations are some of my absolute favorite memories.

Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?

A: Tour Italy and visit the town my family comes from.

Q: What is one thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list?

A: Living in New York City.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: I love to cook, and I’ve been trying a lot of new recipes, including desserts. I also love exploring with my dog, Nessa – we’ve taken a lot of walks around the Northside and even done a few hiking and camping trips.

Q: Any fun projects happening at home?

A: I found a new love for plants and have been working to keep all of them alive. I also enjoy spinning.

Q: What are you passionate about?

A: Travel. I love seeing new places and trying new foods.

Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?

A: Don’t sweat the small stuff. And also, when life does give you something real to worry about (and it will), find something good in it.
