Meet Jonathan Banks!

JB has always had a passion for consuming and creating inspirational art; in fact, he originally moved to Atlanta to break into the music industry! We’re glad he found his way to Brunner, where he’s worked as a copywriter/content creator for three years.

A: Basketball, track, theatre, making music with my hip-hop band.

Q: Tell us some high school fun facts.

A: I was in a hip-hop band. My first car was a Buick Electra 225 and I won the superlative for ugliest car at school. But I was homecoming king and happy I didn’t have to bum rides anymore, so I took it like a champ.

Q: Tell us about home life today!

A: I am a single dad of an amazing 7-year-old boy.

Q: Any fun “projects” happening at home?

A: I’ve been gardening, taking photos, playing my piano and guitar, attempting to produce music again(when I have the extra time).

Q: What is one thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list?

A: Tour 5 African countries and document the Indigenous tribes in rural areas.

Q: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

A: I left my job in Richmond, gave away everything I couldn’t pack into my dinged-up Subaru, and moved to Atlanta to break into the music industry. Crazy AF.

Q: What’s your favorite sports team?

A: I don’t have one. But I always root for the home team. So, all things Atlanta.
