Meet D’Metrius Agurs!
Pittsburgh native, big brother to four siblings, former movie theater usher and six-year Journeys veteran, Agurs is Brunner’s Junior Application Developer and Fantasy Football expert.
Q: What were some of your high school hobbies?
A: I was president of my art club, member of adventure club, I was a stage crew member & I played volleyball and football.
Q: Tell us one high school fun fact.
A: I ran a 4.4 40 yard dash in HS
Q: Tell us about home life today!
A: I got two kiddos, Rowan and Veronica and my lovely partner Hailey! We don’t have pets yet but.. we’re thinking about it!
Q: What do you do on the weekends?
A: Loads of video games. Our family loves to go to the drive-in when we can! Dependable Drive-In is the best.
Q: Any fun “projects” happening at home?
I began writing a graphic novel while the big “Q” was happening.
Q: What is one thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list?
A: Meeting “Tommy” from Power Rangers.
Q: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
A: I flew to LA and back in 24 hours for the Game Awards in 2015. I have absolutely never been more tired in my life.

A: 1Q84 by Haruki Murakam.
Q: Do you have an “unpopular opinion”?
A: Chocolate is nasty.
Q: What is your favorite movie quote?
A: “BAH-LAH-LAH-LAH-LAH” –Baymax from Big Hero 6
Q: What are you currently binging on TV?
A: Ash vs the Evil Dead – 100% recommend if you can stomach some gore. It’s hilarious.
Q: What’s your favorite sports team?
A: Philadelphia Eagles!
Q: What is your favorite place in the world?
A: Eide’s comic book store in the Strip.
Q: What would you do with one million dollars?
A: Sheesh, buy a house, buy a car, stash a nice chunk of it away for my kids’ educations, take the fam on a week vacation to a mountain or island, and open a drive-in theater (that’s a dream of mine)!
