In the office this week, the Brunner team started to think about what we’re grateful for this Thanksgiving season. For some folks it was healthy family and friends, for others it was good Spotify playlists and others even expressed gratitude for our associate creative director Kevin Corfield. Me? I’m grateful for the 4Cs. The 4Cs that define our work. Our agency. Our culture.


Our industry is built on them. What we do is grounded in them. And what we can achieve is unparalleled if we focus on them.


  1. Company – I’ve spent nearly four years at Brunner. And I’ve never learned more. Whether it’s from our leadership team, our clients or my colleagues, every day I come to the agency I learn and grow and progress. Which leads to me to my next point…


  1. Colleagues – I’ve always said you’d better love the work you do and the people you work with. More often than not you spend more time at the office than you do with the people you love. Having great colleagues that challenge you, push you and keep you light when the workload is heavy makes all the difference.


  1. Clients – Clients are at the core of our business and our being. We help them to grow, to evolve, to become the brand they want to be. And in turn they help us to ideate, to create and to drive forward. We couldn’t do the work we do, together, without one another.


  1. Community – While my original list had coffee as the last C (because caffeine is basically a mandate to work in advertising) I’ve replaced it after thoughtful consideration. It’s about our network of peers in Pittsburgh and Atlanta that make what we do worthwhile. Whether it’s freelance partners, community contacts or friends in other organizations, our community of creativity enables us to push further, be smarter and to think bigger than we ever imagined possible.
